How to use 14KG Washer
The 14kg washer
- It is a commercial-quality, hard-mount, medium-load machine.
- Recommended for medium-sized loads up to 14kg (3 baskets).
- Suitable for small to medium bulky items such as single bed blankets and doonas, sheets, towels, and everyday clothes.
- Not suitable for large thick blankets, large doonas/duvets, pet items, or dirty loads.
(Please use our designated Dirty Loads machine for pet items, trade gear, workwear, and restaurant items such as tablecloths and tea towels.)
Step 1
- Please make yourself aware of our terms and conditions of use.
- If the machine has finished running and items are still inside, you may remove them. Please handle other customers’ items with care and place them neatly on the nearest bench.
- Check inside of machine is clean and empty.
Step 2

- Load washing into machine and close door.
- Load to the “max fill line” only. Overloading the machine will negatively impact wash quality. The load needs to tumble freely for effective washing.
Step 3

- Pay for the machine via the kiosk or QR code located on the machine.
- Up to 4 machines can be paid for at one time.
- Please do not pay for wash and dry at the same time. Only pay for a dryer when you are ready to use it, as someone else may use your dryer credit while your wash cycle is still in progress.

- After purchasing, you have the option to request a receipt to be emailed to you.
Step 4

- Select cycle and wash temperature on the machine.
Step 5

- Add detergent and fabric softener if required.
Step 6

- Press the green start button on the machine.
- Please do not leave your washing unattended. The Washhouse Launderette cannot take responsibility for unattended items.
Step 7

- Please remove your items from the machine as soon as the wash cycle is finished.
- Wash cycle time is displayed on the machine.
- During busy times, it may be necessary for others to remove completed loads if they are left unattended.
